Lucy Butler comes from a family of artists. After her university studies she went on to do a certificate in fine art, winning the ACRT award for most promising student. Since then, her work has taken her all over the world and is influenced by her experience and connection with other cultures. Lucy has exhibited widely in Sydney and Melbourne. Her first major commission was in 2004 for the AMP building, Sydney. Lucy likes to get to know the person that commissions her and create an artwork that works for them and their home or workplace.
